Shopify theme and app development

Forget Me Knot Store

Custom Shopify storefront development focused on search, flexibility, and brand fit.

Forget Me Knot Store is a custom Shopify build created to give the business a storefront that felt more considered, more flexible, and more aligned with the brand than an off-the-shelf theme.

This project is useful proof that One Acre Web can help with Shopify theme and app development where the requirement is not simply “have a shop”, but “build the right storefront experience for the business”.

The goal

Software shaped around a real goal, not a generic feature list.

The goal was to produce a stronger branded shopping experience with cleaner product discovery, more flexible merchandising, and a storefront that felt intentionally built rather than theme-bound.

That meant treating the project as more than a surface redesign. Search, navigation, and section flexibility all needed to work properly for the owner as well as for visitors.

What was built

Product depth, presented clearly enough to see what matters.

The work included a custom Shopify theme, a tailored search experience using the Storefront Search API, keyboard-aware result handling, and a section-based structure the business could adapt over time.

The result was a storefront shaped around the shop itself rather than constrained by a generic pre-made theme.

The storefront needed to feel like a proper branded experience, not just a product catalogue dropped into a standard theme.

Delivery approach

The delivery focused on making the storefront feel more usable and more aligned to the brand without overcomplicating how the site could be maintained afterwards.

Tailwind and Alpine were used in a light-touch way to keep the implementation practical while giving the UI enough flexibility to feel distinct.

What this shows

This project shows capability in Shopify theme and app development for businesses that need a store experience shaped around their actual brand and product presentation.

It is especially relevant to prospects who already know a default theme is not enough, but still want something maintainable rather than over-engineered.

Delivered with Shopify, Tailwind, and Alpine.js, with the technology staying deliberately quiet in comparison to the storefront experience it supports.
